POLICE UNIONS SUPPORT WAR ON DRUGS

Neil Horner's "Blame Laws, Not The Police" (Aug. 27, 2004), is convincing
enough, however I question the statement, "You can't fault the police for
enforcing the laws of the land."

That is true only if police don't support and help create those laws.

Where I live, police are actively creating those discredited laws.

I remember when police used to say, "If you don't like the laws, change
them," and "I don't make the laws; I just enforce them."

Police don't recite those anymore because police and prison guard unions
support perpetuating the war on drugs, gaining job security. Another key
factor in re-legalizing Cannabis is its also Biblically righteous.

God told us, He created all the seed bearing plants and said they were all
good, as it is written on the very first page of the Bible.
