DEVASTATING PSYCHOSIS

I agree 100 per cent with this study. My 19-year-old son has been
diagnosed with addiction with psychosis and early signs of
schizophrenia, all because he took street drugs, including marijuana
and liquor.

It has been a hard two months.

No one wants to take young people with this problem. And they can't
be forced into a long-term rehabilitation program that will make them
understand their situation and arm them to cope with their diagnosis.

I know mental-health authorities are at their limits. But when
someone cries out for help by slashing their arms, they should get
help right away rather than wait almost two months.

We as parents have to put a stop to this illegal stuff, because it is
devastating to the individual and to their families.
