SPACED-OUT AND SEEDY WHAT'S HAPPENING TO VANCOUVER?
Re: Councillors mellow about pot care on The Drive, Sept. 3
I am disgusted by our city councillors' lack of concern about Da Kine
Cafe openly selling pot. Furthermore, the unwillingness of the
Vancouver police officers to act without a formal complaint is
appalling and disturbing.
Quite simply, selling marijuana is illegal. By tolerating such
flagrant lawlessness, a lack of respect for the rule of law is
fostered, and a culture of lawlessness is perpetuated. Neither of
these outcomes represents a positive direction for our city. I
encourage our city councillors to expeditiously act to uphold all our
laws.
