SELLING POT IS A GOLDEN BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY

As a resident of the Commercial Drive neighbourhood, I find nothing wrong
with Da Kine. A store that sells marijuana is newsworthy only because of
years of American anti-drug propaganda.

We now have the opportunity to educate people and expand our horizons about
this epidemic of marijuana use and to tax sales.

This is a huge chance to boost tourism and awareness of a substance that is
already thoroughly ingrained in our society. All the police can do is to
make the business look ugly.

It seems that pot advocates are the only ones with their eyes open. We need
to move beyond the crime and look for positive ideas on where to take this
opportunity.
