DRUG CAFE A SHAMEFUL DISREGARD FOR THE LAW

The Editor:

Perhaps the corner stores should just start selling alcohol. If police
can't padlock a marijuana outlet, what can they possibly do to a corner store?

Heck, why stop there? Perhaps the grocery stores can start selling weed in
the fresh vegetable or herb departments as well? Perhaps we can open a
crystal meth retailing operation? Is it really 'just dope'. No, it isn't.
It's a complete disregard for the law of the land and it is absolutely
shameful the lack of support provided the police by the local tin-pot
politicians.

Maybe the law will be changed in the future.

But today we owe it to the next generation to demonstrate that laws are to
be obeyed. And we really ought to stop doing our best to make the police
department look like a bunch of fools.
