MAYOR CAMPBELL, GARR IN STUPEFIED HAZE?
To the editor:
The Courier's Allen Garr and COPE's Larry Campbell are great role
models for today's youth ("Pot law must be challenged," Sept. 15).
Legalize pot and then tax the hell out of it.
I suppose the growers and sellers will report their business
activities the same way as they are doing now. Would it ever be great
to see grow-ops in every garden and basement. Our vegetable and grain
farmers could all turn to growing weed. The country would be in a
stupefied haze and in a good position to apply for jobs writing for
the Courier.
The only problem with tobacco and weed is that the first puff doesn't
kill you, it's always the last. Just hope you've got a good immune
system and can carry on having "fun."
And doesn't pot stink!
How many public washrooms have been laced with that
stench.
Ah, but Garr and Campbell are such progressive thinkers and so far
ahead of their time. Lucky thing they never use public facilities.
