HERE'S WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT DA KINE CAFE
In response to the reader who said there must be repercussions for Da
Kine breaking the law by selling marijuana, I can recall many
instances where laws have been changed.
Not long ago, it was illegal in B.C. to serve alcohol on a Sunday. It
was once legal to ride a motorcycle without a helmet, and now it's
not.
Yes, Da Kine is breaking the law and there will be consequences. They
are: Taxpaying citizens will grow tired of being told they are
criminals for doing what every person who takes a drink does -- enjoy
the right to relax a little. They will represent a larger and larger
proportion of society, until lawmakers feel it is in society's best
interest to decriminalize marijuana.
Is marijuana really that dangerous that good people need to be
arrested for it?
