CANADIAN WEED BOARD COULD MARKET THE CROP
Hey, do you want to "get back" at all those evil pot growers and
users? Then legalize it. Treat it like any other agricultural crop.
We have the Canadian Wheat Board. How about the Canadian Weed
Board?
The government would have to decide, do we sell marijuana loose in
plastic bags or tailor-made joints? Would we call it dope, weed, the
chronic, blow, or mary jane? How much would a joint weigh?
What disgusting picture will be put on the package and what will the
health warning say?
After we force pot producers into marketing boards, we get to tax the
heck out of them and make them buy crop insurance from government
agencies. This will be "value-added" taxation at its best.
The feds will tax the growers, the provinces the distributors, and of
course Mayor Bill Smith and his colleagues will want a cut.
The police worry about organized crime profiting from grass. Nonsense!
Legalize grass and crime is out of the recreational pharmaceutical
business in a week.
