POT LAWS ARE DETRIMENTAL TO US ALL
Re: Judge refuses bail for Da Kine owner," Sept. 23.
The only thing that Carol Gwilt did wrong was fail to commit a sexual
offence or murder a pedestrian as a drunk driver. Had this been the
case she would have been afforded the judicial wisdom and fairness of
the courts of British Columbia.
The sooner the legal system realizes that the lunacy of our current
marijuana laws is detrimental to us all the better things will be. The
resources used in enforcing these archaic laws could be more wisely
spent in defending sexual predators and "bunny" killers.
