GOOD LUCK TO A FRIEND AND AN EMPLOYEE

While I am much more comfortable remaining out of newspapers and media, I
want to take this time to write a short letter regarding Josh Brudwick.

Josh and Kate Rhodes were apprehended in July during a drug raid in Frisco.
Apparently, nothing was found during the raid and they were released.

While I do not know how the ongoing investigation is proceeding, I do know
the following about Josh.

Josh has worked at Neils Lunceford for 10 seasons. He has worked various
jobs during the winter season but has always returned to help provide
landscape services in our area during the summer months.

This last Friday was Josh's last day as he and Kate have decided to leave
our community because of this raid. While I understand and respect Josh's
decision to leave, he will be missed at work and by all his fellow employees.

While I have made a number of mistakes in my business and a number of
mistakes in my personal life over the years, I did not make a mistake in
the hiring of Josh Brudwick 10 years ago. He has been a great asset to our
company and will be hard to replace.

He has moved up to become a key supervisor in our landscape department.
Josh is a participant in the Neils Lunceford profit sharing plan and also
puts money away from each paycheck into his 401(k) for his future and his
family.

Josh has worked at many of your residences and projects around the county.
This past spring, he helped to transplant many of the trees at the Summit
County Justice Center in Breckenridge for the upcoming building addition.

He always helped with our company cleanup day on Highway 9. He attended
seminars and classes to learn more of his trade and to increase his
knowledge of our business.

I am more proud of Josh and all our employees than any project that I have
completed.

Josh has a great, loving and supportive family. His parents, Bill and Adry,
are wonderful people with good hard working core values that they have
nurtured in their sons.

I'm sure they will greatly miss him. Neils Lunceford takes its role in the
community very seriously. We strive to ensure that the owners, the
employees and the company be a positive and productive part of our community.

I was very disappointed to learn that a fellow employee was suspected of
producing a very dangerous drug at his residence. I hope that publicly all
of these allegations can be proved false.

The story is no longer on the front page. Our lives have returned back to
normal and continue on in the same manner. Josh and Kate's lives may never
by the same.

I hope that these two great young people will rise above this and become
great members in their new community as they both were here.

Thank you Josh for your great friendship over the years and your hard work
and dedication with Neils Lunceford. Good luck to you both in the future.

Thomas P. Neils, Silverthorne
