DRUG WAR CORRUPTS
Re: "We can't tolerate this - Cornyn should push probe of Juarez
informant," last Friday's Editorials.
As a retired police officer, I am once again embarrassed, as my colleagues
consider murder a minor problem compared to marijuana and other drugs. As
law enforcement lurches from one drug-war-related scandal to another, we
are all stained by illegal/immoral actions. When will we become as wise as
our grandparents and end drug prohibition?
