MEASURE 33 EXPANDS A FUNCTIONAL PROGRAM

The statewide Oregon Cannabis Coalition, an organization of health and
legal professionals and community activists, wants to inform the
public about Measure 33.

If approved, Measure 33 will improve the provisions of the already
successful Oregon Medical Marijuana Program. Passage of the measure
will create state-regulated dispensaries where registered patients can
obtain a reliable amount of medical marijuana for relief of pain
caused by cancer, glaucoma and multiple sclerosis, just to name a few.

The Oregon Medical Marijuana Program, now over 5 years old, already is
generating income in Oregon as it allows sick people to use marijuana,
a safe and effective medicine, rather than expensive pharmaceutical
drugs. Vote "yes" on Measure 33, to allow Oregonians access to safe
medicine.
