DRUG PUSHERS LURING COEDS

MANGALDAN -- Drug pushers are reportedly luring students of the Mangaldan
National High School (MNHS) to use prohibited drugs.

This was learned by MNHS principal Gloria Patricio who further said she has
been seeking police assistance to put an end to this.

She said some persons have been approaching the students and have been
enticing them to visit their houses.

"Not inside the school but outside. I can pinpoint these suspected drug
pushers and their houses. So I am asking the police to help for that
matter," she said.

Patricio said she had directed someone to seek assistance from the barangay
council of Bari but could not get someone to help the school officials and
teachers stop this situation.

"There is a report that they know who these people are so they are not
extending any assistance. So I will go directly to the police," she said.

She expressed hope that the police headed by Supt. Segundino Adaliga,
police chief, would undertake the necessary surveillance operation for
possible arrest of these drug pushers.
