PEOPLE SMOKING POT ARE EASIER TO HANDLE THAN ONES DRINKING BOOZE

I have been a bartender in Anchorage for 32 years and for 3 1/2 years
in Palmer. I know how people act when they are drunk or on marijuana,
and believe me, I would much rather wait on people who are smoking
marijuana than those who are drinking.

Most people drinking get loud and crazy. After a while they want to
cause trouble. For some people it only takes a couple of drinks to
make them mean, others a lot more. The biggest problem with a drinker
is you don't know what else they are doing (legal drugs or not legal),
and drugs with alcohol is not a good mix. It makes most people meaner.

I have never had trouble with a customer who is just smoking
marijuana. All they want to do is play the jukebox and the video
games. Most only drink cola or coffee. Once in a while a beer or two.

Through the years, I have listened to many police officers (most
retired now) and have heard them say they would much rather break up a
marijuana party than go to a domestic disturbance. Or any other party.
It's a lot safer.
