CANNABIS SUPPORTED BY THE BIBLE

A reason to fully legalize cannabis that didn't get mentioned in the
DI editorial "Pot prohibition equals blowing smoke" (Oct. 6) or in
subsequent letters is that it is Biblically correct. Spiritual and
religious use of cannabis (or kaneh bosm, before the King James
version) by obedient Christians and others exists and should be
protected within our freedom of religion. People use cannabis as a
sacrament to enhance their relationship with the Spirit of Truth, as
described in John 14-16 and 1 John.

Man's right to use cannabis stems from spiritual and religious uses
for cannabis as a sacrament to Christ God Our Father, the Ecologician,
who is responsible for creating all the seed-bearing plants and saying
they were all good on literally the very first page of the Bible.
Biblically, it is time to stop caging humans for using cannabis.
