LEGALIZING POT
To the editor:
I cannot believe that we would let this bill be put on the ballot to
vote on again. This is just insane that we would let money overrule
the balance of our government. So just because illegal pot smokers in
Alaska wants this on the ballot and illegal money has yet again proved
that it can get what it wants. This is not only wrong in all aspects
but also tells us that all that is needed to get an opinion is illegal
money to do so. Well, my opinion is not to vote on this issue for it
and I will always vote against it.
I have seen what this drug can do to families and how children are
treated in these homes where parents smoke pot in front of their
children, and it does affect their so called senses. I have seen how
these children have to live because their parents cannot afford
groceries because of their so-called illegal habits and how they get
taken from their homes and into foster care because their families
cannot pay their bills and cannot afford housing, etc.
Yes, let's all vote for this illegal drug, but let's all vote for what
is right, which is to keep this drug and every other drug right where
they need to be which, is illegal and not have the same rights as
smoking a cigarette or drinking a beer.
