POT STAYS IN BODY
The RCMP's Rick Ulrich says that marijuana is the No. 2 drug, behind
alcohol, in fatal accidents. At best, this is an entirely misleading
statement.
A positive test for the presence of a marijuana-related substance in
the body will result from any test given within a month of consuming
marijuana.
Thus, automatically assuming that the mere presence of a positive test
indicates marijuana caused an accident is ludicrous.
Perhaps the RCMP should concentrate more on science, and less on
mindless propaganda.
