JUNK FOOD JUNKIES
Re: "Heavy price of obesity" (Aug. 5): Junk food will kill many times
more North Americans than all illegal drugs combined. Caring for the
obese (in or out of hospitals) will cost us billions every year. Our
response? Lower the price of junk food, advertise it on TV (aiming it
at kids), and have a "crackdown" on drug users. Pizza good, beer fun,
marijuana bad!
What a stupid, hypocritical, and absurd "culture" we all live
in.
