FEDERAL DRUG LAWS ARE OUT OF CONTROL
Two recent news stories on television demonstrate how out of control our
federal government's policies are.
A guy was sentenced in federal court to 55 years for selling marijuana for
the first time. He was carrying a gun, and that called for the extra 50 years.
The next story: The Afghan poppy harvest is far better than last year.
A couple of questions: Who's running the show in that country? Where does
the U.S. government think that poppy product is headed?
I guess the warlords protecting their poppy fields weren't armed. That must
make it OK.
