DRUG SMUGGLER GOT U.S. JUSTICE
I caught a glimpse of the headline "Teenage drug smuggler gets 8 years in
jail" before walking my dog in the morning.
As we walked along, I came to the conclusion that this sentence could not
have been handed down in a Canadian court. Here you would have to beat
someone to death with a hammer.
Sure enough, when I returned I read it was in Washington. I guess it's
true, we have a legal system, they have a justice system.
