B.C. GREAT FOR DRUG DEALERS, NOT PEOPLE

Editor:

For a few weeks now I have seen the ads on the television about British
Columbia being the best place to live. It must be a government ad and after
seeing and listening to a few programs on T.V. and the radio I think that
the ads are pretty well on the mark, but not for the normal hard-working
British Columbians.

It's a great place for the drug pushers, dealers and all those with grow
ops - it seems like there is one on every street; illegal immigrants openly
selling drugs on the streets of Vancouver and other places; free drugs to
those who want them must be quite a come on for those on drugs from other
areas to come to Vancouver for a shoot-up; car thieves, some who kill and
badly injure those trying to live normal lives; home invaders beating up on
helpless seniors; house break-ins, lots of them not reported because
nothing gets done; a justice system that seems more concerned with the
welfare of the criminal than the victim; and politicians of all stripes who
don't seem to give a hoot, being more concerned with getting junk food out
the schools than the crystal meth and other drugs that are easier to get
than the junk food and may be ruining the childrens' lives. Not to wonder
that people are so apathetic.

Come one and all. British Columbia is a great place to live especially if
you operate on the wrong side of the law.
