TRANSLINK COPS NEED ARMS

I see no decision has been made yet to arm the new TransLink police
officers. I can't imagine why they should have to waste more than a second
on this issue.

Visualize this: on the SkyTrain from New Westminster to Vancouver, two
crazed drug addicts duel it out with guns ablaze over a drug deal gone bad.
What would a Translink officer do? Should he hide under the falling bodies?

Issue these officers the equipment to do their jobs safely. More than 90
per cent are ex-police officers with a ton of experience.
