EPSTEIN IS AN AMERICAN HERO

To the editor:

Steve Epstein's an American hero (High Time, Aug. 10, 2007) standing
up to the monsters. Government luciferously has caged enough humans
for using the relatively safe God-given plant cannabis (kaneh
bosm/marijuana). The bogeyman has prohibited, persecuted and
exterminated cannabis long enough. Colorado's effort to re-legalize
cannabis missed by only a few percentages so work extra hard.

As for Police Chief Robert Champagne, what on earth is wrong with
condoning cannabis when it is much safer than alcohol which is
arguably the real gateway drug? Society doesn't look to police for
which music to listen to and shouldn't look to police for which
recreational substances to ingest. Your job is to make the world
safer and let peaceful citizens alone.
