MONEY OVER MORALS
Perhaps if pot growers lined the pockets of our politicians like the
tobacco, alcohol and drug industries do, the issue of medical marijuana
wouldn't be under such political scrutiny. ("Health issue goes to pot,"
column, Dec. 3).
To deny patients a cheap, easily available and effective drug that eases
the pain and suffering of illness is inhumane. It's obvious this is a money
issue, not a moral one.
