FACTS DISABUSE ASSUMPTIONS
Dear Editor,
One problem with your correspondent's assumption [Warriors believe war
needs to be won, Nov. 23 Letters to the Editor, Langley Advance News]
is that every study done on the medical uses of marijuana proves it
does aid in a "litany" of symptoms.
It's time we used common sense and science, not opinion, to base our
laws on.
This law was based directly upon Emily Murphy's report/book The Black
Candle, which had no scientific evidence whatsoever.
Every scientific study and government report advocates complete
legalization. It seems pretty clear, doesn't it?
Don't take my opinion, though. Look up the facts and learn.
