MAGIC IN GRASS
Dear Editor,
Your correspondent should do his homework before he publicly states
opinions [Warriors believe war needs to be won, Nov. 23 Letters to the
Editor, Langley Advance News].
Dr. Ethan Russo and Dr. Lester Grinspoon both talk about the numerous
"magic molecules" in cannabis that treat a "litany of symptoms."
In it's 5000-year history, cannabis has been scientifically proven to
be more than "faith-healing," but is in fact a non-toxic,
non-addictive, and non-lethal treatment for MS, Epilepsy, HIV/AIDS,
chronic pain, Asthma, Arthritis, and dozens of other ailments.
Mr. Marsh's implication that anyone who uses cannabis for medicine is
"addicted," is prejudicial, arbitrary, and discriminatory.
Of course, if he would bother to do a bit of research, he would know
all this.
