NO LEGALIZATION OF METH, PLEASE

I don't see how anyone could suggest the legalization of
methamphetamine is a good idea (Dec. 9 letter). I am curious to know
how you could feel that way. You have obviously never known anyone
addicted to this horrible drug. When one is on meth, the only thing
they care about is meth. Their body and teeth slowly are eaten away.
Their family cannot be active with them. They will lie, cheat and
steal from anyone in order to get more meth. One cannot function
properly in society when they are a user of meth. So why allow it in
our society? Why should we legalize a very harmful, addictive drug so
they can be accepted in society? There is a reason it's illegal and
should always stay that way.
