PARENTS TURN LOCAL COUPLE IN FOR DRUG ABUSE

A woman and her husband were arrested Friday after the woman's parents
told Ardmore police officers they suspected the couple was using
drugs. Melissa Lyons and her husband, Jeremy Coin, were living with
their children at her parent's house at the time of their arrests.

The woman's parents showed Ardmore Police Department narcotics
officers several suspicious items from their daughter's living area.
Residue on a broken piece of glass tested positive for
methamphetamine, and a plastic baggie was found to contain marijuana
residue.

The father invited narcotics officers and agents from the District
Attorney's Drug Task Force into his home where they found a spoon
containing a white residue, rolling papers, evidence of
methamphetamine, a marijuana cigarette end-piece and a used syringe.

Lyons and Coin were arrested and charged with possession of CDS
(methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug
paraphernalia.

The children were left in the custody of Lyon's parents, and officers
advised the Department of Human Services of the situation.
