STOP THE GUNS
Your item in the Dec. 20 Sun highlighted an interesting situation
where our pot is smuggled to the U.S. and their guns are smuggled back
here.
It is interesting that the U.S. government is making all kinds of
noises about the minor tweaking of penalties which the Liberal
'decriminalization' bill is contemplating, but they are unwilling or
unable to do anything to slow the importation of guns into our country.
I would much rather be on their end of this trade; at least pot never
killed anyone, unlike their handguns. At least until they take steps
to prevent these guns from falling into criminal hands, we should
ignore their input into our laws.
