EXTEND PEOPLE'S RIGHTS
The Supreme Court Of Canada has upheld the rights of gays and lesbians
to marry. Now, the 10 per cent of our citizens who prefer their own
gender to the other are no longer considered second-class citizens. I
applaud this.
Now, if only we could get the Supreme Court to offer similar rights to
the 14 per cent of Canadians who choose to use cannabis, we'd be
getting somewhere.
