COPS WANT THE DRUG WAR TO CONTINUE
Re: "Cops hope pot busts turn tide," Jan. 6.
Why do you not allow input from those who disagree with ridiculous
assertions from the police? The drug war has been going on for decades and
there is no sign the tide will turn any time soon. Besides, the cops want
the drug war to continue because this is the way to increased budgets and
power granted by gutless politicians and endorsed by powerful interests
that call the shots for our so-called free press. Get a grip and try
honest, objective reporting once in a while.
