THE DRUG LAWS ARE JUST NOT WORKING

Mary Anne Erickson's shameless ad hominem letter attacking Russel Barth of
Education for a Sensible Drug Policy ignores the fact that drug laws tend
to promote the increased use of the contraband in question.

After all, it was during alcohol prohibition that liquor was regularly
smuggled and distributed in schools.

Ironically, Erickson suggests schools should not be like prisons, where
drug use is rampant.

Go ahead, just say no. I dare you.
