EVERY STATE SHOULD STOP METH
Re: "We need smarter meth laws," Jan. 30 Our View.
The News-Leader editorial board is at it again. Trying to run government.
I'm talking about undermining our elected lawmakers' decision to restrict
pseudoephedrine sales. The media should concentrate on persuading all the
states to do the same. I support Gov. Blunt.
Of course, the drug-maker giants don't want their sales restricted. Drug
sales are embedded in our economy, just ahead of fast food. Folks buy
pseudoephedrine by the bagful. Not to cook meth. Not because they have a
cold. Just because they need that go feeling all day. Then another kind of
pill to sleep.
The drug industry has the largest trough. It's running over with slop. I
can see who is part of the feeding frenzy. Anyone who supports the drug
giants, in any way, supports the meth problem.
