SUPREME COURT RULING ON DOG SEARCHES

Thank you for your excellent editorial "Court opens door to untenable
searches" (1/26), which defends our freedom as Americans.

As the writer implied, this is an important slip in our freedom and
civil rights, part of an overall pattern.

I can understand a drug search for impaired driving or other cause,
but not when there isn't any cause.

President Bush says the world needs more freedom.

I say Americans need to stop losing ours.
