DO SOME RESEARCH

In reading a Jan. 23 news story on medical marijuana, I found it
interesting that Cathie Adams, director of the conservative Eagle Forum,
who was quoted in the story, seemed not to have done her homework. If she
had taken the time to do real research instead of relying on political
statements by others, she would have found that Bayer Pharmaceuticals is
producing a medical marijuana spray for distribution in Europe. There's no
way that European governments would consider allowing this to happen if
what Adams said were true!

Relying on politics instead of science to make such statements is very
foolish and does a disservice to people who really need marijuana to live a
somewhat normal existence.
