CITIZEN'S ANGER MISPLACED
Dear Editor:
Re: 'I don't think it's a harmless crime,' Burnaby NOW, Jan. 29.
Wendy Jenkinson has every right to be angry that she and her family were
potentially put in the line of fire by having a cannabis grow next to her
house.
However, her outrage should be directed at the politicians and police who
continue to support the prohibition that creates black markets with
inflated prices that attract criminals.
If cannabis were legal, it really would not cause her any more risk than if
her neighbour were growing tomatoes.
