PITY DETRIMENTAL

Dear Editor,

Could I suggest to Ken J. Marsh [Poor fellow deserves pity, Feb. 11
Letters to the Editor, Langley advance News] that he look up the
teachings of Jesus, and learn that pitying the poor is a sin.

So what if someone wants to remove themselves from the system? The
system is not God, is it?

He should stop pitying people, and talk to them as equals. Maybe he
will learn that marijuana can have profound spiritual effects that are
difficult to find elsewhere in our society, for some of us.

What right does anyone have to deny that from us?
