PARENTS TURN A BLIND EYE
To the editor;
I want to thank you for your excellent article on page three no less
(Feb. 7, 2005, Star/Journal) on the meth addiction epidemic in this
town. I hope that it has opened a few people's eyes.
I went through the same horror a few years ago. I still live in fear
of my child's potential to reuse.
I attended the meeting at the elementary school and plan to attend the
high school meeting on Feb. 24.
There is a house in my neighborhood that the drug users frequent as
well as one down the road.
It's everywhere and it's horrible.
I hope this is the start of something good.
The sad part is there are kids out there whose parents have turned a
blind eye.
I look forward to more articles on this subject.
