CRYSTAL METH FORUM AT HERITAGE PARK SCHOOL
The Mission District Parent Advisory Council and Fraser House are jointly
presenting an information forum on crystal methamphetamine Feb. 28.
The guest speaker will be Angela MacKenzie, who has been a youth drug and
alcohol counsellor in the Abbotsford-Mission area for the past seven years.
She currently works for Fraser House Society and the Sto:lo Youth Healing
Centre. MacKenzie has a masters in education in counselling psychology and
is an internationally certified alcohol and drug counsellor.
Parents and past users will speak as well. A host of questions including
how big is the meth problem and how does the drug work will be answered.
The forum will be at Heritage Park secondary school in the cafeteria, Feb.
28, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
