DRUG PROBLEM IN SCHOOLS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED

I would like to suggest the York Region Newspaper Group do research and
print an article on just how bad drug abuse and drug dealing is getting in
our schools, both elementary and high school.

A few days ago, a student from a Newmarket High School was taken to hospital
for, apparently, eating a "brownie" that was laced with God-knows-what.

This drug abuse problem has been going on and I don't believe enough is be
being done by the community or police and, especially, the schools to
control and stop this activity at school.

My children tell me that whatever you want; crack, cocaine, magic mushrooms,
pot and ecstacy is easily available.
