MARIJUANA ISN'T ISSUE

Re: "Moms, Dads and Drugs - Talk to your kids for all our sakes," Thursday
Editorials.

I am baffled as to why The Dallas Morning News chooses not to focus on the
hypocrisy of arresting thousands of young Americans every year for being as
"young and foolish" as our past two presidents.

Would they have made it to the White House with marijuana arrests on their
records? I wonder about the potential we are crushing in future generations
with our haphazard war on our youth, masked as a war on drugs.
