WANTS THE BEST FOR HER TOWN
To the editor;
I red the article "Heart Broken Mother Speaks out" that was in the
Star/Journal three weeks ago, and I have a couple things that I would like
the community know.
I was a wonderful person to others and I liked to be outdoors before, but
then I started having problems with my family and I ran away. I had gone to
a friend's and stayed with her, but that was not a good place for me to be
because she was hanging out with people who did Crystal Meth and in the end
I ended up doing it as well.
I found that I did not like who I was hanging out with and I moved back
home and tried over again. About four months ago I moved out of home and in
with my boyfriend. I started using again and I lost my family and friends.
I started to see that I was a mess and there was no way I would enjoy
living my life if I do not have one.
I quit Meth and I am proud of it! It takes over your body and your mind. I
think that as a town we should come together and instead of coming down so
harsh on teens who do Meth try to help them and support them, not call them
down. I find that if your strong enough and actually want to quit - well
then you will do it with support from your friends and family. I know that
is what made me quit.
I want the best for my home town and everyone who lives here.
