HYPOCRISY

Pot Use- In the wake of the tragedy involving the killing of four RCMP
officers near Mayerthorpe, I am appalled at the hypocritical reaction of
our federal Liberal politicians and others who have indirectly contributed
to the tragedy. It is the so-called recreational marijuana users who create
the demand for these grow operations and it is the federal government who
is intent on fuelling this demand by decriminalizing marijuana use.

If there was no demand, there would be no grow ops and our police would not
have to risk their lives busting them. Today, anyone who uses marijuana
should ask themselves where their supply comes from and look into the
mirror and consider just what effect their recreation is having on society.
Paul Martin and Anne McLellan should look in the mirror, too.
