A CRY FOR JUSTICE NOT SERVED
Editor:
Re: Chilliwack Times article March 4 - Court rules bust no good.
I perceive Judge Hoy is a well-educated man believing in his mind how
to interpret laws. Does he really believe the police were not acting
in good faith? Trying to protect themselves, save lives, protect
society and do the job that they are called to do? I thank God for the
police and laws which are in place to protect and keep us safe. God
protect these officers and give them faith, strength and wisdom to do
their jobs. I honour and appreciate them as I'm sure so many others
do.
Hypothetical: What if these officers had not secured these buildings at the
grow-op site and these individuals were armed and dangerous and ready to be
killed. How many police would be killed?
Please, now, I share why the police and laws have to be allowed to
work effectively according to real justice and truth. Until Dec. 4,
1994 I chose to live a life of breaking laws and paid for the
consequences greatly.
I thank God for the police and laws of this land which I once hated,
that they are in place to stop me from going further down the path of
destruction.
I faced my consequences and turned to Jesus to give me a new life and
hope.
Without Jesus, God's grace, the police and laws I possibly, very
likely, would be just another lost soul living a hopeless life of
crime-on drugs and alcohol.
