TAKE THE CRIME OUT OF POT

As long as marijuana use remains illegal, we will keep sending organized
crime laughing all the way to the bank.

I work in the health-care field. I know of many people, including lawyers,
health-care workers, business owners, literary icons, astrophysicists,
marine biologists and ordinary working people, who use marijuana.

The Mayerthorpe killings are horrendous, and our hearts break for the
victims' families. But let's not clump hundreds of thousands of marijuana
users -- many of whom are honest, productive, hard-working people --with
one perverted, cop-hating, gun-wielding psychopath.
