POT SMOKERS AREN'T ONLY ONES CONCERNED ABOUT THE B.C. 3
Editor:
I am writing to make the public of Lethbridge aware of three Canadian
residents that our Stephen Harper government is going to hand over to
the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration for extradition for the sale
of pot seeds.
I am disgusted our government would allow the U.S. to enter onto our
soil and arrest someone who has never stepped foot on U.S. soil.
On Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. on the front steps of City Hall in Calgary, Marc
and Jodie Emery along with Grant Kreiger (another unjust arrest and
waste of our tax dollar) will be there for a Free the B.C. 3 rally. I
invite every non-smoker and smoker of cannabis, medical or
recreational user to come out, if you don't want to see our country
run by the U.S.
As a Canadian, I am disgusted our government would allow the U.S. to
come into our country and expect us to send him there to die in a U.S.
prison. For what? He didn't murder anyone. He sold pot seeds.
I am a strong advocate for legalization! If we could all just grow our
own supply ourselves, there would be no street dealer selling
cannabis. The organized criminal would have nothing to grow or to get
a gun to protect. I say legalize and tax the hell out of it! Give
every dime to health care so our seniors never have to worry about
where their next meal is coming from.
Marijuana growers in the States have offered California governor
Swarzenegger to pull the state out of debt. When is the government
going to realize prohibition doesn't work? I guess until our children
have to bear arms to go to school to protect themselves from the dope
pusher, nobody will see.
