ADDICTS NEED HELP, NOT HEROIN

I am utterly perplexed as to why we are spending thousands of dollars on a
program to discover whether giving addicts free heroin makes it easier for
them to quit.

We have workable systems, such as the Narconon Program, that do get people
off heroin, with a 75-per-cent success rate.

If there are rehab programs that work, why are we still spending time and
money trying to figure out what will work? It's time for us to provide
addicts with real treatment that will help them.
