VIOLENCE BEGETS VIOLENCE
With the recent RCMP murders, it just goes to show that you can't
fight fire with fire.
It would help to ease up on the laws regarding marijuana growth, since
it's impossible to wipe out grow-ops completely.
As long as there's money to be made for people who grow and sell
marijuana, murderous acts like the one at Mayerthorpe will continue.
It's not going to help if we have more law enforcement. It won't
really solve any problems. There will just be more policemen. And more
will die.
I believe there is a resolution through non-violent
means.
If we react with firearms, chances are the growers will be even better
prepared, since they plan for raids.
More violence isn't the answer.
