CHILD SEIZED IN POT BUST
Charges are pending against a 26-year-old woman after cops busted a
marijuana grow operation and seized her child. On Saturday, police executed
a search warrant on a home in the 100 block of Riverbend Drive S.E.
In the house, they found a three-stage, 254-plant marijuana grow-op.
The pot has an estimated street value of more than $300,000.
The woman has been charged with production of marijuana, possession for the
purpose of trafficking, and theft of electricity.
A one-year-old child found at the house was taken into custody by the Child
At Risk Response Team.
