BUS STOP DEATHS

To the editor:

After reading Friday's report regarding Veronica Schmidt, the woman
who had Xanax in her system when she crashed a vehicle into a bus stop
and killed four people, I am amazed that charges might not be filed
against this woman.

Yet here sits Jessica Williams in prison for 18 to 48 years for having
a trace of marijuana in her system when she killed six teenagers who
should not have been "cleaning" a highway median in the first place.

What kind of justice is this? Both were on drugs. Maybe Ms. Williams'
lawyer needs keep fighting for her -- or maybe they can all meet at
the nearest karaoke bar.
